As directed by the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), the manual booking of National Identity Card for Pakistanis Overseas (NICOP) applications, through forms, has been stopped at the Embassy of Pakistan. Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai.
According to a statement issued today, from now on, visitors will only be able to apply online for NICOP services at the NADRA section of the Embassy and Consulate. Manual forms will no longer be accepted.
To further facilitate Pakistanis abroad, the government has set up an online service to apply for NICOP, while sitting at home. In addition, the Pakistani Origin Card (POC) application process has also been halted by the embassy and consulate. Individuals wishing to apply for POC processing can do so online through the website.
