London, 02 Dec. 10, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Libro Credit Union today announced that it has adopted Government Sign-in by Verified.Me as a new real-time way to verify the identity of people online when they sign in to sites. Government of Canada website.

Government Sign-In by Verified.Me provides a convenient way to access government services, powered by Interac®. Instead of creating and managing a new user ID to access government services, Libro owners can log in with Libro online banking credentials – ones they already know and trust.

After owners sign in with their sign-in partner, they are referred to government service. No password or personal information (ie: name, address, date of birth, etc.) is exchanged during this process. Government Sign-In by Verified.Me is a commercial service independent of Sign-In Partners and the Government of Canada.
